Glen Maurer, the face behind the name, began a passion for photography in his pre-teens when he dusted off his mother’s old Nikon and began snapping pictures. Years later, post-secondary studies in journalism and photography prepared him for a career of writing and taking pictures for newspapers in Alberta and British Columbia. Glen launched his business in 2000 as a part-time venture and now, with the assistance of his wife, Leigh, focuses full-time on his photographic business.

While the two prepare a framework of fresh ideas for each wedding they shoot, spontaneity during the photo session plays a large part as well. “Our goal with every every photo session is to ensure the formal posed shots are balanced with fun photos. We are limited in our creativity only by time and the willingness of those we’re photographing,” Glen explained. “We also keep the atmosphere at our wedding shoots casual and fun because the fun factor shows through in photos – just look at the samples we have posted here on our website portfolio.”

Located in Strathmore, Alberta, just outside of Calgary, the creative couple travel regularly through the year recording beautiful wedding memories.
